Your Pet's Rescue Story
We met Charlie last spring when dropping off a pair of foster kittens who were ready for spay and their forever homes. My husband came along for the ride – a first – because he knew it was “dangerous” for him to venture into the Pet Alliance. Once we dropped off the pair our friendly, and very purr-suasive coordinator asked if we’d like to take a look at the new kittens who were in need of fostering. And pretty simply that is how we wound up with Charlie. He was 320 grams and shaking in his cage, a singleton with no back story, but the huge name of Charles Xavier. We had to take him home, of course, and after six weeks of being my constant companion, and my husband’s nap buddy, we knew that he’d be a foster fail. Charlie is the most spoiled, sassy, nippy, headstrong little boy who sleeps on his back with no care in the world. Oh, and I did I mention that he SNORES? And we love him.
