Your Pet's Rescue Story
This is Penelope! She was rescued from Puerto Rico and made her way to a shelter in New York where we found her. It was a bit of a rough road at first- house training a young dog who lived her first 6 months on the streets was not easy. Now she is 5 years old but still a puppy on the inside- she’ll play ball for hours, gets the leash zoomies, and will pull all of the stuffing out of a toy in minutes. It would actually be appropriate for her photo to be on a wine label since she sometimes drives me to drink wine by digging to China via my garden! She can be quite a little firecracker but is the love of our lives- she has a true joy for life and we still can’t get over how incredibly soft her fur is. Rescued dogs are the best dogs, and Penelope is one of them.
