Your Pet's Rescue Story
After struggling with fertility for a while, my wife and I were looking to adopt our first dog into our family. My wild animal-rescuing sister-in-law found Scooby (Moses at the time) for us. Scooby was so incredibly comforting to my wife during the very stressful fertility treatments and failures. He was so sensitive and caring (like he was specially-sent to our family for that very purpose). When my wife and I would hug, he would get jealous and moan/ grunt in protest that he wasn't in the middle of the hug. Even though he was a dachshund, he looked like Scooby Doo when he sat up. When we came home, the first time we left him home alone, we found our little doxie somehow on the dining room table. He peed on the table, but we think that was because he realized he was stuck up there and really had to go. He was the absolute best boy ever up until his last day with us. He was the epitome of the phrase "WHO RESCUED WHO?" phrase I still have his dog tag on my key chain, we still have his name in our email address, and we still have his memories close to our heart .
