Your Pet's Rescue Story
Something told me I needed to go to the shelter that day. It was during a torrential summer storm in 2015 when I went on a whim to Alachua County Animal Services in Gainesville, FL after work just before they closed. That day, the sweetest 6 month old cocker spaniel mix had been brought in as a stray and quickly found her way into my heart!

I had been casually looking at shelters and rescue groups for my furever friend for a while, but hadn’t found the perfect match until that moment. When I was told that someone else had just completed their adoption application for her, I was a bit heartbroken; but several days later when I received a phone call, I knew it was meant to be!

Cammie is now living her best life as a spoiled rotten pup! My boyfriend at the time I got Cammie is now my husband and the proudest dog dad out there. We recently bought our first home here in Orlando and gave Cammie the huge fenced backyard of her little dog dreams. She is truly our baby and we wouldn’t have it any other way. I don’t know how we got so lucky! Cheers to you, sweet girl!
