Your Pet's Rescue Story
Bay was rescued by a man who fixes houses. Bay and her sister were in between a wall of an old house. Bay's sister was pregnant, so the man took both of them to a cat rescue near his house. At the time of their adoption at a Petco event, my son Ben, his girlfriend Katy and I walked into the store to get cat food for Katy's cat. My son isn't the kind of person who immediately goes to cat adoption sites, until that day. Bay was all alone in her cage huddled in a corner, Bay's sister was in another cage by herself, and her kittens were all together in a separate cage. Everyone flocked to the kittens, but my son was immediately drawn to Bay, who was all alone with no one paying any attention to her. The minute a volunteer put Bay in Ben's arms there was an instant connection. As time went on, Ben just couldn't put Bay back. Ben's birthday was coming up and Katy really wanted to adopt Bay for Ben's birthday gift. She is now 4 years old and such a fun loving cat. My son and Bay were meant to be.
