Your Pet's Rescue Story
Foxy Lane was adopted into her furever home on 12/16/2019. She is 9 months old and 5 lbs 9 ounces. I had been wanting to adopt through pet alliance for quite some time. Then when I started my new job I found out that my company was involved with Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando to help foster dogs in our office. It made me so happy to know that I worked for a company that did something to help an organization like Pet Alliance. I knew quickly I wanted to help any way I could in getting as many dogs and cats into their furever homes. I started volunteering to foster dogs for the night and each one was getting adopted very quickly. After bringing a few furry friends home I knew I was ready to adopt. Foxy was brought into our office and as soon as I saw her and her eyes I just knew she would be going home with me. She was a bit like me. Very shy at first, but once she investigated the situation she felt right at home. All she wanted to do was show her love. Since that day Foxy and I are inseparable. She has been there through some of my great and worst times in the 9 months since she was adopted. She loves to play fetch, go for walks, shake her toys, loves snuggles and belly rubs, making decisions of which toy she wants out of her toy bin. And she loves to stand on her hind legs and walk for treats like carrots or blueberries. Aside from her hidden talents, she brings happiness to those all around her and puts a little sunshine in our day everyday. I am very lucky to call Foxy my fur baby and will always continue to support Pet Alliance in any way I can.
