Your Pet's Rescue Story
You could say it was love at first — after all, who could scroll past a one-toothed Yorkiepoo with a too-long, dangly tongue and not fall in love? Little Weasley has been in my life for almost three years, and just like his namesake wizard, he’s been nothing short of magical.

Previously, I was an extremely independent person and my friends and family were surprised when I made the spontaneous decision to adopt Weasley. But he quickly became my (much smaller) better half—my secondary shadow! I have high levels of both stress and anxiety and Weasley doesn’t let a second pass before he climbs into my lap if he detects my mood shifting. He is irrevocably on my side and has been there for my most proud moments in life — writing a novel, graduating my Master’s program, buying my first home, getting promoted, and meeting the (human) love of my life. He may only weigh 7 pounds, but his little doggy heart is larger than life.

My friends and family now know that Weasley and I are a package deal — we rarely part. Rather than him intrude on my independent lifestyle, he’s seamlessly become part of it… from traveling to cities across the US with me to even joining my friends and I every Monday for our Bachelor/Bachelorette viewing parties, Weaz is everything I didn’t know I needed. I only wish I knew him for the first 7 years of his life. October 30, 2017 — the day Weasley officially became mine — will forever be my favorite day.
