Your Pet's Rescue Story
Bug and her siblings were rescued by some very kind strangers nearly two years ago. While her bother and sister were in good health, my sweet girl had a serious eye infection that caused her eyes to bulge out like a bug. She got the care she needed to get better, but it involved the removal of one of her eyes.
This traumatic start to her life hasn’t slowed her down though! While she enjoys long naps in the sun and cuddling while we watch tv, she spends plenty of time running all over the house, playing fetch with her toys, and hiding and pouncing from behind my houseplants like a jungle cat.
Bug been a treasure from day one, but these past few months have shown me how truly sweet she can be. As a nurse, most days leave me feeling like the world is turned upside down and when I get home she comes to greet me at the door. She even leaves her dinner out to come snuggle up on my lap when I’ve had a particularly hard day. Coming home to Bug every day is such a treat and I’m so thankful we found each other.
