Your Pet's Rescue Story
Valentino was rescued at just 4 months old. He only had one week for a chance to find his forever home. Luckily I came to the shelter just hours of his arrival without the intention of adopting any dog. This sweet boy was left on the street before coming to the shelter and I just couldn't imagine what he went through. We both were at a time in our lives where we really needed each other. I was suffering from anxiety and he was looking for a home. I just new that we would make the perfect pair.

Valentino follows me everywhere I can take him. From car rides to get pup cups, to beach trips or even assisting me at work. He loves nothing more than a good belly rub, long naps and greeting all of his neighborhood pups on his walks.

Unfortunately, due to the neglect of his past owners. Valentino had developed severe skin allergies that were possibly inherited from his mom at birth and left untreated. At just 9 months old, he has had frequent visits to the vet to treat everything from severe skin rashes to infections and even once had a horrible reaction to medication that almost risked his life.

With all that he has gone through, Valentino is still just as sweet as the minute he greeted me at the shelter. There is nothing like the bond we have and without Valentino, I don't know where I would be today.
