Your Pet's Rescue Story
Olive is a 10 year old Maltese and was found wandering the streets with her brother Popeye, with mange and her nails growing into the pads of her feet. I applied to rescue Popeye in November 2020 but he had already been adopted but was asked if I would be open to adopting a dog with some potential medical issues. I said yes and once I saw a picture of Olive I fell in love.

Over the next few months she had multiple surgeries to be spade, remove her eye, laser her ears out after years of neglected ear infections and having a tumor removed. Being the trooper that she is, Olive recovered and on January 29, 2021 she came to home to live out the rest of her years as her best years.

She is the sweetest dog, so happy and loving. Everyone that meets her falls in love. At first they notice how cute she is with her little tongue sticking out all the time but once they spend even a minute with her they see she how beautiful she is on the inside.

I thought about adopting a dog for years but the timing never seemed right. Olive is proof that all good things come to those who wait.
