Your Pet's Rescue Story
Our senior puggle, Otis, who we also adopted, was crying every night when we would get into bed. We would give him love and attention, but the crying continued night after night. He had been in a home with other dogs previously, and I told my husband perhaps he was lonely and needed a dog companion, not just two human companions. We decided we wanted to adopt another senior dog and found Etta online.

We were told that Etta's owner had been diagnosed with an aggressive cancer and was given weeks to live. Even though she was very sick, she had started reaching out to rescues to make sure all of her pets found good homes. The day that Etta was turned over to the rescue, her former mommy passed away in her sleep. We were very sad to hear Etta's story; she was very loved by her former mommy.

Etta has brought so much happiness to our home and has completed our family. Otis' nighttime crying stopped the stay Etta came home with us, and he hasn't done it since.

She truly is the best friend to all of us!!!
