Your Pet's Rescue Story
Popeye was found all alone, badly matted, skinny, and with severe damage to his left eye. He is such a sweet and snuggly boy that it's hard to believe that he was on his own for who knows how long. Orange County Animal Shelter brought him in, removed his mattes, and his eye. He was still healing when Me and My Shadow Dog Rescue took him under their wing. Just a few days later, we saw Popeye on their Facebook page and it was love at first sight! Our first meeting with him, I could not stop cuddling him as he showered us with kisses. We took him home that very night. He is the kindest, cuddliest, most trusting, playful, and amazing boy in the whole world! People say that he is lucky to have found us, but we are absolutely the ones who lucked out! We have so much gratitude for everyone involved in saving his life so that he could be a part of our family. We love him so much and he fills our home with so much joy and sunshine!
