Your Pet's Rescue Story
Who rescued who?? I was having a bad time -- just kind of stuck in a rut, depressed and, as a lot of people, suffering anxiety. Dei happened to be in foster care looking for someone. The shelter was spilling over, even they had no room for her.
My sister found her.
On 8/23/17 I was at home going through my routine workout. She knocked on the door, which irritated me. I had no idea when the box moved that I would look inside to meet eyes with an adorable angel puppy. Dei and I have been best friends ever since, taking care of each other. Yes, she has chewed a few things, eaten my dinner on occasion and frequently sasses me, but she always waits for me to come home. We snuggle and she thinks that a 70 pound dog should be a lap dog...and I agree.
