Your Pet's Rescue Story
I am fully convinced that Ayla and I were destined to be together and it was pure fate! The day that I learned that the pup I had adopted at OCAS was claimed during its stray hold and I was devastated, I went to a work HH at the Aloft Hotel downtown begrudgingly, even though I wanted to go home and sulk that I wasn't picking up my new companion the next day.

Right when I walked into the hotel lobby, a foster was dropping off the cutest little yorkie mixed puppy to be the Aloft's featured pet. I was looking for a smaller dog and always had said I would LOVE a yorkie, but I know they are more a more difficult breed to scoop up from the shelter, and I have vowed to ALWAYS rescue any dogs or cats I have in my lifetime. I ran right over and scooped her up and immediately said "IM ADOPTING HER!" I was so prepared for her based on the pup I had on hold, and she was the sweetest, most calm angel and I know she would have gone been minutes after I claimed her based on how many people there said they were in love with her. 2 1/2 years later, she is my shadow, my best friend, my angel from above, and my daily source of happiness! I truly don't know what I'd do without my little girl and I'm so incredibly thankful for Pet Alliance for making her adoption possible and partnering with the Aloft!
