Your Pet's Rescue Story
Hi! I'm Amelia! I was born on the streets of Puerto Rico where my eyes became badly infected. Thank goodness someone found me and took me to Soul of Satos Dog Rescue. Because they specialize in dog rescue, they contacted AnimalLuv's Dream Rescue in Riverview, FL who agreed to care for me.  I got to fly on a plane from Puerto Rico to Florida in April 2021 to my foster home.  While both organizations did everything they could to try to save my eyes, they were irreparably damaged. I had surgery to remove them to not cause me anymore pain.

Don't get sad for me though, I am a sweet, playful, and spunky girl that is living the best life! I found my way to my furever family in late June 2021.  It didn't take long for me to become the queen of the house!  You can usually find me in my favorite spot on the guest bed so if you come visit me, I guess I'll share my bed with you.  I make chirpy noises when I am happy and love to chase around my toddler cat brother and sister. Did I mention I am an excellent biscuit maker?

I want to help bring awareness to special needs pets, a lot of times we don't require that much extra than any other pet, so give us a chance you won't regret it!  I pawromise!  Also, I overheard if I get enough votes my pawrents will throw a pawty for everyone who voted and serve CATbernet, MosCATo, and PURRseco.  I have never been to a pawty and I really want to go, so PAWLEASE vote for me to raise money for shelter pets in need for the Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando.
