Your Pet's Rescue Story
My husband and I adopted Cash from a no-kill animal rescue organization called RAIN (Rescuing Animals in Need) in March 2019. We had been wanting to adopt a dog for a long time, and one Saturday morning, while I was scrolling through Facebook, I stumbled upon a picture of this adorable, fawn-colored puppy on RAIN's page. My mother-in-law, who is also involved in rescue work, knew the lady who was fostering Cash and set up a meet-and-greet for my husband and me. We instantly fell in love.

Cash is a very handsome and playful two-year-old Pit mix. My husband and I love to travel, and we try to take Cash on as many of our adventures as we can. He joins us on our trips down to Miami to visit my parents and grandmas, he's hiked through the Blue Ridge Mountains of Georgia, explored the Great Smoky Mountains during a trip to Gatlinburg, TN and has enjoyed splashing around at Smyrna Dunes Park in New Smyrna Beach. Cash is the youngest of our two fur babies and loves annoying his older sister, Missy, a 13-year-old tortishell cat, and eating her treats.

Cash is well known by everyone in our neighborhood, so much so that we often joke that he's the Dog Mayor of College Park.
