Your Pet's Rescue Story
Meet my Soul Dog, Roscoe. Roscoe and his litter were found living under a mobile home in 2011. He was the result of the owner breeding his dogs to try to make some extra cash, but unfortunately that money wasn’t going towards taking care of the dogs, so they were rescued. Unfortunately this type of breeding led to numerous health issues, severe allergies and two leg surgeries. Even after all of that - he was a happy fluff ball. He started off as a quiet, reserved puppy and quickly turned into a large fur tornado leaving little fur tumbleweeds in his wake. Then came the terrible-chews stage… RIP to all the sneakers. He was always carrying a stuffed animal around and splashing in the mud. Roscoe became fiercely loyal and the best of boys, even defending me from an intruder as he put his own body between myself and the stranger. He loved exploring and has visited 30 states and 13 National Parks -- more than many humans!!! After 11 beautiful years with him our sweet boy was diagnosed with Mast Cell tumors. Roscoe crossed the rainbow bridge in June 2022. I just know he’s up there running around in a sea of tennis balls and biscuits while hoping you vote for his handsome face and support other rescues in the community!
