Your Pet's Rescue Story
Watson came to our home in August of 2021. He is an 8 yr old full Golden Retriever. We are his 3rd home since July 2021. His first family (since 10 weeks) moved to Europe and chose to rehome with friends. He had a large growth in his mouth and they didn't have time for him. We saw the ad for him on Facebook and drove an hour to get him. He is a sweet, sweet boy. A typical Golden, always carrying something. We had our Vet check him and we decided to have the 3 inch mass removed. It was too large and growing so we took him to the Animal Cancer Care Clinic in Orlando. Dr Tammi Ruddle performed the surgery removing the tumor which had grown into his lower jaw. The surgery included removing his lower jaw and teeth from canine tooth to canine tooth. The mass was benign and he is fully recovered. He eats, dry kibble, milk bones and his favorite treat peanut butter. Our family- 6yr old female Golden/Terrier mix my husband and myself- are so happy he joined us and he is OURS!
