Your Pet's Rescue Story
We rescued Bruno for Barney, our mini schnauzer, when he lost his sister to cancer. Bruno had been owned by migrant workers who passed him from family to family. He was neglected and so matted you couldn’t touch him; it hurt, when the Tiny Bug Dog rescue got him. I saw him and the rest is history. Barney and Bruno hit it off and were best of friends. With some training he became the perfect companion for Barney and the sweetest, best behaved boy for us. Sadly , when he was 13, Barney suffered liver failure and we lost him. Bruno was there for us all the way. Our hearts were still broken from losing Kinsey, so losing Barney, hit hard. Bruno’s playful antics and loving ways saved us. Everyone loves him. He’s always wagging his tail and loves his dog friends. He sits on my lap and cuddles when he knows I’m sad, he plays with all his dog friends, and greets all the neighbors. I was sure my heart would be broken forever losing Barney and Kinsey, but Bruno Mars, dog of the stars, as I call him, has kept us smiling and laughing. He’s a great traveler, loves the beach, and almost everybody he meets!
