Your Pet's Rescue Story
Dog - My Best Friend Rescue Red
BamaBelle was one her way into the Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando when her Daddy met her. The man taking her in found her in his yard a month prior and was waiting for someone to claim her. He didn’t have the heart to turn her in and that’s when everything fell into place. Her now Daddy couldn’t pass up such a beautiful little face. She made herself right at home instantly. She was such a good girl. Upon rescuing her brother, her only child syndrome kicked in. She ran away! For 5 days we worked sleeplessly to find her! Thanks to social media, she was found and she ran right into her Mommy’s arms all the way across the street. BamaBelle was healthy with minor bites and cuts. It has been a journey rehabilitating her back to her usually sweet and friendly self but we are getting there. Her brother, Bronco, absolutely loves her and depends on her mothering nature to care for him. BamaBelle has been such a blessing in teaching our family and friends that such a negative view on Pitbulls is just ignorant judgement. Our babygirl is the sweetest, most well mannered pup we have ever had. In fact she is so smart, she can open doors and let herself out or put herself to bed in our room. Just like with a child, we have to watch what we do around her as it only takes her one time seeing something and she can mock it. Our rescue story isn’t about rescuing BamaBelle but rather how she rescued us from a stigma that needs to be eliminated. Mommy and Daddy love you sweet girl, Pitty smile and all!
