Dog - My Best Friend Rescue Red
TrishYour Pet's Rescue Story
This is Waffles. I adopted her when she was five years old from The Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando, and let me tell you... it was the best decision I have ever made. This pup has brought so much joy into my life in so many ways. She loves nothing nothing more than to just be near you.
I have had some fairly life altering health issues over the last two years. On a good day, you can find her sipping puppucinos from local coffee shops, to watching the sunrise on the beach, to hiking around our favorite spots in the Carolinas. On days where I’m not feeling so great, you can find her snuggled up right next to me on the couch just happy to be spending time together. I can honestly say this little ray of sunshine has been a big contributor to my well being emotionally, and I’m so thankful that I have her in my life.
Waffles is now nine years old. She loves making new friends, both human and four legged. If you are a regular at any of the parks around Orlando, Waffles is usually pretty easy to spot. She’s the dog snoozing under the shade. She will acknowledge you and your four legged friend, but almost immediately go back to her snoozing self. If you are a regular at coffee shops, you can usually find her at Foxtail or The Heavy waiting ever so patiently for a scratch on the rear end. She loves kids. She loves snacks. And she loves life!
They say animals are a person’s best friend. That statement couldn’t be more true. If you’re contemplating rescuing an animal, DO IT. You will not be disappointed. So, to my Waffles Sunshine, my ride or die, cheers to many more puppucinos and adventures! Love you Waffles, and thank you Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando for gifting me with the best gift a girl could receive. 💛🐾
