Cat - My Best Friend Rescue White
DougYour Pet's Rescue Story
My wife and I decided that we wanted to adopt two black kitties, so they can be cats with each other, and have a good home since they are the least adopted! We went during kitten season, of course, and had no problem with a huge selection. My wife found Zinfindel (our other cat, a black female DSH) and immediately bonded. I was, however, distracted by Bamboo (our pictured male tabby manx) . He was by himself and I noticed that he had no tail! His cuddle and mew were too much for me and I couldn't look at another kitten. Ten years later, and we're still so happy with our choices and how they've grown and socialized. They're perfect for us to use to show how people still have many misconceptions about cats and how they behave. We use them as teaching tools to our friends and guests to educate them on things like black cats are the least adopted, no we didn't cut off Bamboo's tail, that a very high percentage of orange cats are males, and that you can have very social, very friendly cats that don't bite, scratch, or hiss and can make you fall in love with adopting!
