MichelleYour Pet's Rescue Story
Karma was rescued in Tennessee and was saved from being a bait dog. He had heartworms and trust issues. Shitty kitty was saved from a kitty shelter in lake county. When I adopted Karma, I really thought that I was saving him, a few months down the road, a divorce, a disabling injury, inability to remain in my job field, lost my home, returned to Florida. I soon realized who actually saved who. Without the unconditional love and companionship Karma constantly shows me, I'm not sure I could have worked through so many life altering changes. Any time I'm sad, I'll look over at karma and receive the world's best lick across my entire face. Karma has recently been diagnosed with some things that will eventually change he quality of life, we will cross that bridge together, the same way we face everything else. With the world outside of my house being so chaotic, with deadly virus, a scary, divided political climate and things that do not honestly need naming. Karma is the one loving, honest, giving and caring figure around me. I think the quality we should look for in our next candidates shouldn't be the one with the loudest bark but the one who knows how to offer things unconditionally. Karma, thank you for reminding me what is real and what isn't, teaching me what is important and for showing me what love truly can be. You are my best friend and my teacher in all lessons important.
