Roselyn "Rosie" is now 3 years old. She became part of the family 1 1/2 years ago. She fit right in as a "little sister" to our first dog Rupert, an OCAS rescue from 2 years prior. We wanted a companion for him at 9 years old, a senior dog. She was found in Puerto Rico after hurricane Maria relief efforts. She was wandering the streets and she looks like she had at least 1-2 litters of puppies. She was sponsored and brought to the U.S. by Pet Alliance. She had blood and kidney infections from tic bites and needed tests and medicines for months but she has come a long way. She is so sweet and loving . She likes to cuddle with her "big brother" Rupert. She has added so much vibrance to our household and has even helped Rupert to be more active and play like a puppy again. They run in the fenced in back yard and in their fenced 700 sq ft dog run. She loves to bark and chase the birds from the bird feeder, dig holes in the dirt, and fetch her dog toys and play keep away. She has been a comfort and bright spot in my husband's life who has mild depression from time to time. They are my fur babies and we are a complete family ❤️. Thank you Pet Alliance and OCAS for your continued hard work and dedication.
