Lindsey Your Pet's Rescue Story
Orville grew up in the rough streets of Hialeah, Florida where he lived with his owner and chihuahua sister in an abandoned building, as they did not have a home. Orville spent his days going to work with his owner as they operated a tamale street cart. Unfortunately, Orville’s living conditions only got worse and he was eventually surrendered to animal control.
Once surrendered, he ended up in the shelter, and than a foster home for 18 months until he finally had his “furever” home. Sadly, shortly after being rescued his sister did not make it and passed from the many health complications she had through out the years.
Orville had many vet visits, and his furever owners learned he had a severe heart condition in addition to extreme hip issues that were likely caused by a car accident. Orville was never treated prior for either issues and his hips were not able to heal properly.
Today, at the round about age of 10, no one would every know that Orville had any issues, his heart condition is under control with proper medication and his hips have also been treated! Orville has so much life in him and loves to chase his chihuahua rescue brother Downie and Pitbull puppy brother Dexter. He enjoys laying under blankets and loves when you pet him behind the ears. Orville has many tricks and loves to entertain guests; paw shake and side eye are some of his go to moves.
We are so grateful to have Orville in our lives and just want he’s golden years to be the best years!
