Your Pet's Rescue Story
Breeze is a Pet Alliance Alumni. She was transferred from OCAS to the Pet Alliance- underweight and shaved – always a no-no for double coated dogs. Her fur has grown back and there is no mistaking this beautiful Border Collie. True to her nature– she is extremely smart, playful and sensitive. She is always looking for something to do- especially play ball!! It’s a 24/7 job for her, even at age 7.
She has two older sisters, Cali and Bailey who sometimes steal her ball – this perplexes Breeze- “where did it go?” Her boundless energy is infectious as she runs circles and jumps over her sisters to get her ball. Once she even stole a mandarin orange off the counter and tried to play with it. It’s round right?
She is a true protector of me and her older sisters. She loves to stalk and chase geckos in the yard and let’s not talk about how fast she is when she sees a squirrel!
I love her boundless energy and the sweet way she cuddles by rolling on her back for a belly rub.
I jokingly tell people her name is Breeze but I should have called her Wind or Hurricane – life moves fast with a Border Collie!
