Your Pet's Rescue Story
Last year this sweet girl was involved in a fight with another dog and bit the finger of someone trying to separate the two. She was brought to the shelter with puncture wounds on her ear and body along with a scraped raw lower lip and raw scrapes on both elbows and both knees. After being treated with antibiotics, quarantined, vaccinated and spayed she was put up for adoption at that same shelter.

I found her on the Internet and showed her picture to my 94 year old mom, who then wanted to go look at her. This sweet pup immediately ran up to my mom and licked her face, chest and neck and then rolled over for belly rubs. She finally noticed me and did the same to me-licks and belly rubs. Next thing I know, my mom (Grammy ) was saying "I want her" and we were going home with a new pup with the new name of Brandy! Mom picked the name and the only reason we can figure out is because my Mom's mom used to come home from work each night and have a shot of Brandy to help her relax and sleep!
Brandy is so sweet, loves to give kisses but to also protect her mommy and Grammy. She loves to chase squirrels and bunnies and also to bring her mommy barely alive lizards and the occasional mole. Being out, chasing critters and exploring her surroundings brings her such joy. When not outside exploring or playing fetch she enjoys being a couch potato and sleeping. She's also become my best friend and my shadow, following me everywhere.
