Your Pet's Rescue Story
I rescued Muji on May 28, 2025, from the Osceola Animal Shelter when he was just three months old. I chose his name because Muji is one of my favorite Japanese stores!

Initially, I was hesitant to adopt another cat. After losing Zizou—our beloved 14-year-old rescue from Pet Alliance—last year, I wasn’t sure I was ready. But I began thinking about Rico, our other rescue from Pet Alliance, who’s now 15 years old. With my husband and I planning to travel for three weeks at the end of the year, I didn’t want Rico to be alone in the house. Although our daughter will be stopping by daily to handle feeding and litter, she can’t stay overnight since she has three pets of her own—and Rico thrives on companionship, both human and animal.

Surprisingly, it only took five days for Muji and Rico to become friends. Despite their age gap, they’ve bonded beautifully. Rico remains quite active for his age, and Muji, full of kitten energy, has brought a new wave of joy into our home.
