Your Pet's Rescue Story
Mr. Winston is a Cavalier King Charles spaniel. We went to a breeder to look for babies, but Mr. Winston stole our hearts on the spot! He was five months old and had been overlooked in the crowd of many weeks-old babies. All of his litter mates had been long gone to new families. While all the other puppies were jumping up and down for our attention, Mr. Winston sat quietly on the couch. When my husband and I sat down, he immediately came over, crawled between the two of us and curled up in a ball. All it took was one look from his big beautiful eyes to capture our hearts. We had recently lost our beautiful 10 yr old Cav, Adeline, to Cushing’s disease and we were devastated. Our 1 1/2 yr old, a chocolate Cav named Coco Chanel, had stopped eating, was losing weight, and had to be hand fed. She was depressed and constantly looking for her old friend, Addie, who helped raise her from 12 weeks old. Mr. Winston not only saved Coco, but my husband and myself as well. Coco has gained back the weight she lost and is a happy puppy again! Mr. Winston and Coco are the best of friends and play all day long until they are too tired to move and they fall asleep in a ball on top of each other. Mr. Winston is the sweetest, most loving dog we’ve ever had. We are eternally grateful that he somehow was able to wait five months for us to find him! We are the luckiest and happiest doggy parents in the world! It’s not only that we rescued Mr. Winston, but more like Mr. Winston rescued us!💕🐶💕
