Deanna was adopted from a foster in Jupiter, FL along with her sister from the same litter. We adopted Deanna to help fill a hole in our hearts created by the sad loss of another beloved black kitty we cherished for many years. Named as an homage to the Star Trek: The Next Generation character Counselor Deanna Troi, this Deanna’s sleek black coat resembles Commander Troi’s flowing black hair. Anyone who spends time with this kitty will recognize her empathic abilities; she knows just when to snuggle with anyone who is feeling a little down. She loves spending time with her sister Beverly, whether that means getting a snack, grooming one another, or maybe even doing yoga! When she is looking to relax, Deanna seeks out a ”commanding” seat perched atop her cat tree so that she can keep an eye on the whole crew.
