Your Pet's Rescue Story
I met Oscar during a rough patch of my life. I stopped by the Sanford Greater Pet Alliance location and was introduced to this distinguished gentleman by staff. I don’t know much about his past other than he was six and a half years old, been adopted and returned twice (had previous names of Midnight and Dallas), and had been at the shelter for approximately four months. I was told he was FIV positive, had a heart murmur, and some REALLY bad teeth. Staff was even willing to wave his adoption fee. Naturally, I had to take him home. Fast forward a year later, and here we are! Oscar knows no strangers and is living his best life. Give him a treat or two and some pets and he’ll be your best friend.
