Your Pet's Rescue Story
Percy was adopted from Pet Alliance in July 2021, when his extra-pink nose, winged eyeliner, and the way he kept yelling at me from his cage caught my attention. Percy has been compared to a possum, a lemur, a wet noodle, and a Habsburg, but we usually call him Bunny because of the way he likes to jump for his toys. He is now a shy but gentle and affectionate four-year-old, who loves snuggling in his big armchair, making biscuits on his favorite blanket, and drooling on me when he is happy. His favorite hobbies include ominously crouching in doorways, looking for a lizard he saw on the window one time six months ago, and having loud conversations with anyone who will listen. Though he scares guests by staring at them unblinkingly and always tries to eat the cream cheese off my bagels, this strange little guy has changed my life for the better.
