Your Pet's Rescue StoryI lost my pet to old age 16 1/2 years. My husband did not want any more pets for awhile. He asked me what I wanted for Christmas one year, and I replied (several requests) a lap dog. We went to the rescue place, and all they had were big dogs.. On the way out, there was a cute puppy all alone.. My husband inquired about the puppy, and she had just been dumped.. The rescue center put us in a room to bond with the puppy.. She was so smart, she went directly to my husband, and started licking him.. He melted, and we brought her home the next day.. She now allows us to live in her home!
