Your Pet's Rescue Story
Theo was rescued off the streets of the Tampa area. He had been hit by a car and was very skinny and afraid. I adopted him from Rugaz Rescue, now he works with me at the nursing facility. He brings joy and companionship to people who are in pain, feeling depressed or feeling forgotten. Walking through the facility with Theo can must have been what it was like to walk down the street with Elvis. He brings a smile to everyone who he meets. He has a knack to hunting out the people who are sad or upset and need him the most and to watch him work is something almost magical even though he doesn't speak you can see a bond of understanding and watch the healing process begin. He also participates in the sport of Nosework, he earned his NW1 title this year. He is an amazing animal, without people who rescued animals all of his natural talents would have gone to waste and because of them not only does he have the joy of fulfilling his potential but so many humans lives are better because he's in their lives!
