Your Pet's Rescue Story
Jeremy was found when he was about 6 weeks old outside of a McDonald's. He was part of a large feral cat colony that lived in the wooded area nearby. They all looked hungry, so we went inside the restaurant a bought them some burgers and fries. All of the cats surrounded the food, but would run away if you got too close. Jeremy tried to run away too, but just wasn't quick enough. We got close enough to him that we were able to swoop him up and swaddle him in a t-shirt. We knew we had some work on our hands with a feral kitten and didn't know how hard it would be to get him used to being around people. I had read before that when you are trying to socialize kittens, you should put them close to your chest so they can hear your heart beat, so once we got in the car that's what I did. Jeremy started immediately started purring and slept the rest of the way home.

Jeremy has been running the household now for a little over a year. He spends his time grooming, sleeping, watching TV (yes, it's true!) and annoying his two older cat-siblings, Stella and Dexter.
