Your Pet's Rescue Story
This little girl walked into my life when I needed her the most, but she also needed me as well...

I looked online about 2 months prior knowing that a pet would help me. I was recovering from the end of a 12 year relationship, and this was the first time I was living without a pet. I almost went and picked her up, but knew I wasn't quite ready.

My friend contacted me and said he found a cat while he was walking his dog. She jumped out from a bush and scared them, followed them home, and wouldn't leave. He said I needed take her in, and after some coaxing and a photo, I agreed to foster her. I said I would find her owners if I could, and return her to them.

When she walked into my home, she immediately stole my heart with her windshield wiper tail and her "I'm here" meows. When she laid down on the ground wanting her belly rubbed and gave me her purrs of approval, I knew that she was truly meant to be in my life forever.

After some investigation, I reached her owners and found out she wasn't getting all the care and love I could give her, so I told them I wanted her. They said ok! My heart skipped a beat, and I took her to get checked out by her friend the veterinarian. He loves her just like everyone that meets her.

Since then, we have an early morning photo shoot where she does her best to be a good model. Most days she is a true professional, but like every top model, she just can't be bothered. Too much catnip the night before I'm sure. She has become famous on Instagram with her own hashtag: #princessmeshu

Besides her gorgeous eyes and shiny grey fur, Meshu has an inquisitive spirit, loving nature, and calming presence, but she's a messy eater. I'm ok with that! I will do what she wants to make her happy, because she helped me find mine.

We have had our ups and downs since becoming a family, but as our lives continue to evolve and change, there is one constant that will always be there. She will always have a caring and safe home full of love and devotion. She's my little girl. My princess.
