Your Pet's Rescue Story
Skyler was adopted when he was 10 weeks old for this Conroy location and changed my life. At 19 and a full time college student and employee, I became a mom to the cutest and most curious puppy. A few months into having him we discovered that his knee cap had not attached to his tendon on his back left leg and would need surgery. I saved every penny and was able to give my puppy son what he needed. Now he is a healthy 9 year old scruffy puppy with a little sister, Lucy Lu, who does everything she can to love him. Lucy Lu was also adopted from the Conroy location and absolutely loves her big brother. When he skips around the house, she skips right behind him. When he eats his breakfast she eats her food next to him. When it is bedtime they both cuddle with one another and fall fast asleep like the two best friends and siblings that they are. Adopting Skyler forever changed my life for the better and adopting Lucy Lu only made our family better. They are our children, the ones we look forward to seeing when we get home and cuddling up with during a thunderstorm to watch a movie.
