Your Pet's Rescue Story
The corner of Bumby and Robinson, this is where Gizmo found me. I was at work, not interested in owning any pet much less a cat. His little meows alerted us to him and we managed to rescue him from the busy street corner. My plan was to take him to the pound at lunch. What did I know about owning a cat? But as the next few hours passed I noticed that every time I walked away from my desk, the little 1 pound black fluff ball would meow loudly until I came back. After a while, I picked him up and held him close. That was the moment I fell in love. The best moment in my life. He was now and forever my baby. Gizmo had a rough start in life. I am not sure what even brought him to be alone on the street crying for help. But I know that once we found each other, he went from rags to riches. He has three cat towers, endless cat toys, and all the fancy feast he can eat. He is loved beyond words. And he loves me back with all his little heart. He greats me everyday when I come home from work, he kneads my belly every night before I go to sleep and he sings me awake every morning with his sweet meowing. Animals are emotional support, unconditional love. I never new how much that love and support would mean to me in life. Through the rough times, the sad times, the scary times- Gizmo is there for me. He is a true blessing and the most amazing gift I have ever received.
