Your Pet's Rescue Story
We had an elderly cat (17 years old), Oliver, who wasn't as mobile as he used to be, and had recently lost another cat who was a playmate to our 9-year old cat, Murphy (all three were rescues). We went to the Orange County Animal Shelter to find a kitten. All of the younger ones were spoken for, but we found our sweet Bogey in a separate area. He was 4 months old. He had been adopted and returned. He loves to snuggle and lie on his back (as evidenced by the picture of him laying under a table). We can't imagine why anyone would have returned him, but it was our good fortune to find him. He and Murphy love to play and snuggle together. We had to put Oliver down last month and are glad that Murphy has a best friend to keep him company.
