Your Pet's Rescue Story
Hi! My name is Jackson, but everyone calls me Jax! Before I found my forever home, I was bounced around from shelter to shelter and foster home to foster home. One day, my mom visited the shelter that I was in and noticed me and and my crooked smile. She asked one of the volunteers who I was and the volunteer introduced me to the person who would be my new mama. The volunteer told her that everyone thought I was too ugly and didn't want to adopt me. That's all it took and just like that, I was home.

I am approximately ten-years-old and everyone thinks I'm a Puggle. I have a cleft lip and palate so my tongue is always hanging out. I'm a little slower to learn than most dogs, but I know how to love just the same. I live with my other rescued brother pup, Parker, and six rescued kitties.

My favorite things to do are: go for rides in the golf cart, sniffing Parker's ears, shopping at the farmer's market in Saturday's, and helping my mama in her garden.

I would love to represent all of the special dogs and kitties and show everyone that just because we are different and have some unique challenges, we make good pets too! We love the same and just want a comfortable and safe place to call home!
