Your Pet's Rescue Story
Our dog, Grits, was found wondering the streets of Atlanta. He was specifically found eating from the trash eating grits. The grits were caught in the fur on his face. He was a big mess and very dirty with extremely matted hair. We lost a senior dog to kidney failure and decided to get another dog immediately, because there are so many dogs that need homes. Grits was available through Southern Comfort Maltese Rescue, and we could not resist the opportunity to bring him to our home. Since we had adopted from this rescue previously, we were able to bring this little guy home and begin his new life very quickly. He is a very loving little boy and enjoys spending time with his two Bichon sisters and getting belly rubs from his momma. Another thing that he loves is sleeping with his mom and dad every night along with his sisters. We are one big happy family and Grits just adds to our happiness. This picture also shows another one of his loves, "DIRTY SOCKS"! Dirty socks become instant treasures for him. He is a joy!!!!
