Your Pet's Rescue Story
Georgia was sent to the shelter because the breeder was through with her. Then she was adopted out to a family that had a tragedy in the family and they returned her to the shelter. Then she was rescued and fostered only to be tied outside and covered in ticks and fleas, the rescue took her back and she died on the vet's table, he brought her back to life with many transfusions and lots of medicine. She needed a calm environment with no children or other animals to heal, so we fostered her. I am happy to say we are foster failures and have had the pleasure of having Georgia in our lives for 7 years now. We have gained a family member, a human in fur, the love of our lives, she is the most gentle, sweetest dog, we love her so very much and can't imagine life without her. She will never be treated as she was in her early life again.
