Your Pet's Rescue Story
Lucky was left abandoned at a house when her former owners moved away. She was left outside with no food or water! My husbands friend found her and asked if he would take her. Ryan was living alone and hadn't had a dog of his own. He took one look at her picture and heard the story of how she was left and he was hooked. He brought her to his apartment and it was a little rough at first. Lucky was so scared and didn't trust people - who could blame her!! But, they both persevered and became best friends. She's been wonderful for Ryan and vice versa. They ran at the park, chased squirrels, and traveled a few times together. When I joined their family a little later I brought along my then kitten, Ross. Now Lucky is 13 years old and we've added more cats to her family. She is a loving big sister to cats Ross, Rachel, and Lynx. She doesn't run as much as she used to, but she still loves a quick chase after a squirrel in the back yard!
