Your Pet's Rescue Story
I had been searching for a rescue Yorkie for several months. I looked out of state and in state, when a friend told me about the rescue group I got her from locally, I enquired and she alerted me when one had been taken into foster care. I originally wanted an older one 5+ years old. This one was 9 months old, another friend said go see her you and her will know.
I got there early and waited finally the rescue group showed up. I could see her in the many stacks of cages they had loaded in the truck. I was told her owner couldn't keep her and she was rescued, she spent a few months in foster before I saw her. I was told she was shy, they had me sitting at a long table and brought her over and sat her on the table for her to get adjusted to her surroundings, she immediately jumped in my lap and looked up at me and started kissing me, we both knew it was a match she chose me, and I was happier than ever. She adjusted very quickly and at a year and a half old she seems like she has been with me forever. She is smart, spoiled and spirited, Mia has filled that spot in my heart.
