Your Pet's Rescue Story
We decided to adopt Buddy a year after losing our dog Hannah. My husband, my mom and I had all missed that close bond we once had with that 4th family member.

I remember meeting Buddy for the first time at the Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando's Sanford shelter. He was shaggy, lanky, and just plain goofy. We were sold. I was, however, somewhat apprehensive about his name.

But once he came home, it was clear that he truly was a "Buddy" to everyone. There's not a single person he hasn't accepted or been unwilling to become close with; young or old.

Buddy came to us with thunderstorm anxiety and it's been an interesting and sometimes difficult road to help him with his fear.

But after all the unconditional love and companionship he has given us, we are 100% committed to helping him cope with his fears and living a happy fulfilled life.
