Francis and her 3 Hemingway siblings were born and abandoned by their feral mother on the streets of Orlando (ok, so it was Orwin Manor, but still...) Her foster mommy bottle raised all 4. My 5 year old cat, Bodhi (also abandoned) died suddenly of an asthma attack on Oct 30, 2013. Francis' mom phoned me a few days later and said, "Come pick out a kitten." Little Francis came home with me Nov 7, 2013. I named her after a cool, old-school guy (St Francis of Assisi) and two cool, modern guys (Francis Underwood and Pope Francis). Love!
