We adopted Ruby on Christmas Eve as a gift to our other boxer, Roscoe, and in so doing saved her from a life as breeder stock with an unscrupulous owner. We had no intention of coming home with a puppy that pre-holiday afternoon but oh what we would have missed! Ruby has kept Roscoe young, encourages us to exercise, and makes us laugh out loud every day. As evidenced by the photo, she is convinced she is a lap dog. Luckily she is quite small -- a pygmy boxer.
Ruby is simply a nugget of joy.
