Class of 1995: Stormy Graduation

Please tell us about your Coronado Memory
There we were, on the field in our graduation gowns. The result of four long years of hard work and good times -- with many, many amazing adventures still to come in our futures.... BUT ...

Storm, Winds, Rain!! Look at the palm trees in the background, almost bent over in the wind. Look at the threatening clouds bearing down on Cutler Field. Look at everyone looking up at the sky. Rain in June in Coronado -- impossible!

What comes next? Hard-driving rain, rain, rain -- soaking rain --slanting horizontal rain!

Never before in a HUNDRED YEARS of CHS graduations has the valedictorian been completely soaked! What a unique experience and a fantastic memory always to be remembered...but not remembered as a soaking but as a unique happening for a special class from Coronado High ... and a wonderful lifelong milestone for everyone!!!
