Mongo is a 20 month old 150 lb. Landseer male. He was rescued from Old West Newfoundland Rescue in June. His owner lived in south Texas and he tied him to a tree when he worked his 12 hour shifts. Mongo’s only shelter was under the owners trailer. Thankfully his owner cared enough to surrender him. He is the sweetest most loving gentle giant. He lets our 13 mo. old grandson pet him and lay on him and Mongo never gets up to run away. He must love the snuggles too. Mongo loves playing with his 5 yo Newf sister and tolerates our 10 yo Aussiepoo. He is well trained and has fit into the family seamlessly.
