Fergie came to us as a foster through National Newfoundland Rescue, but it didn’t take long for us to realize she was already home. She’s our perfect princess with a heart of gold, and she has become the ultimate foster mentor—patient, gentle, and always ready to show the ropes to every new dog who passes through our door. Fergie radiates joy and love in everything she does, from her calm presence to her silly zoomies, and she’s the glue that holds our pack together. She may have started as “just a foster,” but she became one of our happiest NNR foster fails and a true forever blessing.

Otto crashed into our lives as a rambunctious teenager, and true to form, he’s never really slowed down. He’s our lovable monster man—silly, goofy, precocious, and endlessly entertaining. Otto is always into something, whether it’s “shopping” around the house for treasures, tearing up toilet paper, or finding creative ways to keep us on our toes. Life with him is never boring; he makes us laugh every single day with his antics and larger-than-life personality. As one of our most unforgettable NNR foster fails, Otto reminds us that sometimes the wildest ones turn out to be the best gifts of all.
